hi, i m presently working as gram panchayat sahayak, my present basic pay is rs. 11930 (including grade pay rs. 2600). I am selected for the post of byo under wb govt. Which offers a basic pay of rs. 12270 (including grade pay rs. 3900). now , my question is whether i m eligible for pay protection, service continuation etc. If yes how would it effect? Pls. Explain.
If you had applied for the new post through proper channel, i. e., with NOC and others necessary documents from your current department, you are eligible for service continuation and pay protection.
According to Pay Protection, one’s Pay in the Band is protected.
Your current Pay in the Band is Rs.9330/- (Rs.11930/- – Rs.2600/-), which is greater than your your new assignment (Rs.8370/-).
So your current Pay in the Band (Rs.9330/-) will be protected and your new Basic Pay will be Rs.13230/- (Rs.9330/- + Rs.3900/-).
thanks,but, my further query is..my present deptt.(i.e gram panchayat) is not fully govt. But the new job that i m selected in is fully state govt,in that case am i eligible for such benefit? Pls answer ,it will help much.
IF earlier job was under same govt then pay protection can easily be availed through Administrative department in consultation with Finance department. But in this case, pay protection may not be claimed as earlier job was not directly under Govt of West Bengal ( Not under WBSR). But service continuation is a different thing, and in many cases where an employee comes from any other departments (under Govt of West Bengal including undertakings), service continuation has been allowed if pensionary cum geatuity benefit found. In this case the application must be submitted through proper channel and administrative department can allow the service continuation after approval from Finance (Audit) department.
I would like to know that I have been issued appointment in post of KPS in the scale of 5400-25200 GP 2900 but implemented 1832 memo i.e. no da,hra but notification was in 2010 with full scale salary and i informed that i am a PRI Bodies employee with scale of pay 5400-25200 GP 2600 for better employment i was applied now what is the procedure or rule for continuation of service i was in service from 19-8-2009 what is the rule for pay protection.
am i eligible for full salary of pay scale declared by the psc & is it possible for continuation of my past service of more than six months. Is 1832 memo of 2013 applicable to me
Applied through proper channel & not received NOC fromP&RD Deptt. but specified in application of KPS in 2010. Now my Basic 10700 GP 2600 and Gross 19344 but as per appointment my salary will be basic 9600 and ma 300 only. Is there any solution plz help
