I joined a college through West Bengal College Service Commission and served there for two years (2008-2010) (Basic 16920/- + GP 6000/-). Then I have joined Govt. college through WBPSC in 2010. Shall I get pay protection? I have applied for pay protection but the official says I shall not get pay protection.
I applied through proper channel with no objection and joined the present post with released order.

Pls see the provisions for pay and allowances, as contained in your appointment letter.

sir please tell me that what was your current pay in pay band and g.p. who the authority has denied. is it the finance ministry of w.b.? what cause they have sited? please tell us that whether your service is governed by wbsr or not.

Dear srinil1723,
Past Services under State/Central Government/Statutory body/ Government undertaking/Nationalized Bank/ Autonomous body and Military Service count as qualifying service (WB Finance Deptt. Memo No. 7091-F dt. 17.9.86 and No. 11322 dt. 4.10.89 [No. 849-F (Pen) dt. 9.4.94 No. 1874-F (Pen) dt. 1.12.94] (Rules 186, 193 & 194. Relate to counting of military service).
Pls note the Pay rules 42A (1) & (2) and coherent Notes in WBSR Part-I, particularly Notes-1 & 3 under sub-rule 2.
