I am Dr. Partha Pratim Saha & I recently joined West Bengal Health Services since 26th February 2016 . My DOB is 12th November 1983 . I have been posted as GDMO in SNCU in medical college kolkata . My question is am I eligible to draw pension after my retirement ? Or Pension has been withdrawn from our state for those who have joined after 01.01.2015 ! Has NPS ( National Pension Scheme ) been applied upon West Bengal government employees ?
I am in a big dilemma & not getting any confirmatory reply from any sources .
Please help & guide me .
Yes, you will get PENSION after continuous service period should be minimum 10 years). If an employee joined in NPS then he must deduct a percentage of amout from his salary. It is not yet been started in W.B. Service.
