A Physical Education Teacher (B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed degree holder) is eligible for Pass Graduate scale; after having Ph.D degree, will he eligible for ‘DOUBLE INCREMENT’ benefit?
No. A teacher appointed in graduate/undergraduate category with graduate/undergraduate scale of pay is not eligible to get financial benefit on enhancement of qualifications! Pls see sections 14(1) & 14(2) of Control of Expenditure Act,2005.
