    Hi! Members,
When a junior high school is upgraded to a high school, some posts are created to make total teaching posts 12(11+1). These newly created posts are normal and the teachers appointed to these posts are permanent. Now the question is whether these newly created posts have post sanctioning letter & the teacher appointed to these newly posts will have to kept this post sanctioning letter with his/her service book. with regards.

It will be better if the teacher concerned keeps a copy of the post sanctioning G.O. with him/her. Sometimes it happens so that the dept calls for the said G.O. from school authority to meet a query of finance dept etc. as the dept cannot find the concerned file. You will be glad to know (pun intended) in the year of 2010 many schools were sanctioned various teaching and non teaching posts by DSE. Copy of those letters did not reach concerned schools and DSE now cannot find office copies lying with them. You may know why
