School teachers are always devoted to promote education in the society – right from the grass root level. However, in the current system, it’s an irony that they cannot promote themselves in the service because of non-availability of regular promotional scheme in WB schools! WHY?
How do the teachers address this issue? Ever placed their demands?
CAS benefits for teachers is not a new scheme. The benefit of financial upgradation under CAS (8, 16 & 25 yrs in the State employ) or ACP (10, 20 & 30 yrs in the Central Govt. employ) is also available to those Govt. employees who have regular promotional scheme.
Anyway, whether the teachers have ever moved with the demand of regular promotional scheme! Is it that they are happy to leave this assignment to God!
