Here is a career graph of a Typist:
1980: Joined as Clerk-cum-Typist.
1983: Promoted in Clerk-cum-Typist (Grade I).
1990: 10 yrs CAS not awarded.
2000: 20 yrs CAS awarded.
2005: 25 yrs CAS awarded.
2012 onwards: No further promotional scope.

Thank you so much. You told that from 2012 onwards no promotional scope, Cant he get the supervisory scale (grade pay 3900) in future

No. Because, “Only 3 benefits can be availed through out the service life”. I can not confirm the statement right now, because I have not yet seen any G.O.

I see. I also heard that but dont have clear conception. Would also like to know the procedure of promotion for a single post under an appointing authority.
