A UD Clerk refused promotion to Supervisory Level Head Clerk Post and gave in writing an undertaking to Head of Office that he will not claim this promotion in future . Now after 10 years have elapsed, ha has applied for Supervisory Level Head Clerk Post again, will he be considered now for this post?

Yes,it has been recorded in his service book.

As he has forgone the promotion in writing and it has been recorded in the service book, his prayer may not be considered by the higher office.
