What is the Rule to calculate salary of 5 /12 /23 Days, like that.
Pl. inform with example.(total basic/no of days of the month) X no of days work= basic for the month (rounded off to the next rs).
for example if the working days of a teacher is 12 in the basic pay 8160.His/her calculation will be
basic pay= (8160/31) x 12 = Rs. 3159
D.A.(58%)= 3159 x 58% = Rs.1833
HRA(15%)= 3159 X 15% = Rs. 474
MA = 300/31 X 12 = Rs. 116
GROSS= 3159 + 1833 + 474 + 116 = Rs. 5582
NET= Rs. 5582- P.TAX (Sorry i’ve no idea how much should be the p.tax)

Total No. of days of the Month – will be always 31 ?
or for Aprir 30, for May 31, for February 28 — like that ?
Please clear.I think it wiill be 30 for april 28 for february, 30 for may.
