For puja vacation it is noticed that DPSC Bankura has circulated a notice to re-open the Schools on 30-th Oct-12. Whereas at nearby Hooghly DPSC has not . Has there State circular regardining the matter ? If ,yes why vacation is so diferent in different DPSC’s ?

Dear Friends,
I think Bankura D.P.S.C has done it rightly. All the Pry. and J.B. Schools under this Council will be enjoy 65 days during the year even after that as per Govt Rules. Other D.P.S.C may be or may not be consider, this is not Bankura D.P.S.C’s problems, though it should be maintain other D.P.S.C. Is not my friends? Please post here It is wrong or right. With regards.

@asitbaran pal: Friend I agree with your view. But I , as a teacher felt it to be embarrassing for not getting the order in time. Yes there may be situation of emergency circulation but this case was not of that kind in any way.
I am confused with the second phase of summer vacation declared by the govt (see this link : Vacation in WB Schools ) where it was clearly said that this extra holidays will be compensated with extra work hour(extra working days was not mentioned only maintain of the academic calender was ensured by extra classes if necessary) but in the notification of the first phase summer vacation it was guided for reducing holidays from other part if my memory does not fail.
I am also interested to know about the notification on NAZRUL JAYANTI by BANKURA dpsc, if any thing was made please provide it…
please help me to count 65 days holidays for bankura dpsc. I am (mistakenly) counting more than 65 for this year

Friend,
As a teacher under this council I agree with you but it is true, as per Order we have no right to enjoy more then 65 leaves in this calender year.
