Friend, As per G.O. NO. 453 SE (PRY.) dated 04.05.1999. A teacher may get not exceeding 21 days or in exceptional circumstances,30 days on submission of Medical Certificate.
List of the applicable diseases:- 1. Small Pox. 2. Scarlet fever. 3. Plague ( Bueekmonic or Bubionic). 4. Typhus & 5. Cerebro- spinal meningitis. Thanks to all.
Dear friends, How many time can a teacher get this kind of leave? Is there any restriction(e.g. maximum21/30 days in whole service life)? or will he be entitle to get this kind of leave whenever situation demands?
Again will it b illegal if a teacher joins school even there is infection of that kind in his family?(I’m sure no teacher will do so to keep the little children out of infection at school) The query to know the rule only!
Should the students also be guided not to come school temporarily if there is infection of these kind in their family?
Thanks!!!

As there is no limitation mentioned in the WBSR, it can be availed whenever it is required.
……
There is no rule but it should be included in any awareness programmes.
