Re: Re employment
Dear Mr. Rahaman,
Actually, if you go through the W.B.S.R., you will find that rules related to almost all common areas like Joining, Leave, Increment, Pay have provisions for re-employed employees. Such as –
rule 11. Exemption from producing a medical certificate of fitness as required under rule 10
rule 79A. Re-employment.
rule 48(d). No Increment on reemployment.
rule 55B. Pay of a Government employee re-employed after retirement
rule 147.Counting of former service towards leave on reemployment (after resignation).
rule 149. Leave on reemployment (after retirement).
rule 168 (5)(a)(iii). Cash equivalent in respect of earned leave.
etc.
The process of re-employment to the post last held by the retired employees is regulated by ACC i.e. Appointment Committee of the Cabinet consisting of Secretary P& AR Deptt., Secretary, Finance Deptt. subject to the approval of the cabinet.
A different type of re-employment (on contractual basis on a consolidated remuneration) is being done in some office vide a specific Govt. Order, link of which has been given by Mr. nemo.
Regards.
