Can an employee be asked to refund the installation charge borne by the office for providing telephone connection at residence when he is transferred to a different place by the erstwhile DDO?
If Office is providing Telephone facility to a employee, then the installation charge as well as the bimonthly payments of the telephone bill up to the ceiling is also provided by the Office. This Telephone connection is generally against the designation of the employee. When the designated employee is transferred, then Office can not claim the installation charge from the person.
