Some of teachers (friends) very worried that interest fall of E.P.F. (Employees Provident Fund) though it is not our expectation. But all the Govt employee and also teachers are under in G.P.F.(General Provident Fund) Scheme. Some Senior employee/teachers are under C.P.F. ( Contributory Provident Fund) as per their option.
Rate of interest of G.P.F. are noted Below ( so far as I Know):-
Financial Year:- 1984-’85- 4%, 1985-’86 to 1986-’87- 10%, 1987-’88 to 1999-‘2000 – 12% , 2000-’01- 11%, 2001-’02- 9.5%
2002-’03- 9%, 2003-‘ 04 to till now – 8%. Please try to prepare your P.F. statements with the help of our dear friend Som’s P.F. calculator. With regards.
