Is there any provision for a muslim teacher that allows him to attend Friday Prayer during school duty hours? Please attach GO if any for the same.

I can remember there is one G.O. regarding this which allows muslim employees leave office from 12 noon to 2 p.m. to attend friday prayers. I shall post it if I could manage to find the same.

In a reply to RTI application, Govt. of India accepted that it is allowed for the Muslim government employees to take a break during lunch time for Jumma prayer.
