I joined in a school on Dec, 2013 in additional post. I approached TIC for the retention. But he said we have to apply after completion of two years of service. Is it correct? What is the exact rule for retention and what documents have to submit along with the application. Please help.
Generally, after completion of 2years of continuous and satisfactory service an additional post is retained.
Your TIC may approach 6 months prior to completion of 2 yaers of your service.
Papers Needed for Retention:
1. MC Resolution,
2. Filled in Approval Form,
3. Last 3 years’ Roll strength of your school,
4. Staff Pattern,
5. Certificate of Validity of the MC,
6. No Litigation Certificate,
7. Copy of Recognition and Upgradation memo of your school,
8. Copy of the post sanctioning memo and Prior Permission of the DI/s,
9. Copy of your last approval,
10. Forwarding Letter.I join at 23/07/2013.recently burdman university release a notification for distance b.ed for 2015-2017.classes may be start at the end if september.am i able for that?

As per the Memo No. 982 Sc/G, Dated, the 7th March, 1968 you have already exceeded the period of eligibility of for pursuing B.Ed. on deputation. I am posting two important G.O.s for you in this regard. Also, please follow the suggestion of @nemo for future communication on an undiscussed topic.
I have joined on 08/07/2011 as AT in HS Section(Addl post approved for 03 years). I have 08 days E.O.L. for B.Ed. Exam 2011 from 12/07/2011 to 30/07/2011,not continous. How does it affect my Ongoing Retention Approval??? Will it deffered by those 08 days?? What the actual rule is???

No, according to ROPA 2009, if the EOL (with out pay) may take within 30 days, and the MC approved it, then there is no question of date of increment or other relevant opportunity. Only in case of pension, these days (EOL) will be deducted from total service. You may find out the same answer which is given in this forum.
Thanks a lot.Ropa 2009 explains about the unchanged date of increment for less than 30 days EOL(without pay). Is it explain the same unchanged date for retention case???? The allotted officer of DI(SE), Malda office said the retention will deffere by those 08 days(though the office making my retention letter for around 15 months!!!!!) What will happened actually!!!!!!!
