In case of Pay fixation it will be always next rounded off Rs. 10/-
As per new ROPA, fixation calculation is very easy. You dont need any chart like Ropa 98 and previous. You just need to provide the promotional increment and grade pay related to the upper scale. As such the above formula for calculating increment is also applicable for calculating pay fixation.

If the fraction amount of increment is between 1 paise to 99 paise it will be rounded to the lower amount of 10 rupees otherwise higher . For example Rs. 100.01 to 100.99= Rs.100/- and 101.00 to 109.99=Rs.110/-
