Dear, Sibabrata, don’t mind. Then you have to go positively. If thereare no problem for other teachers then why are you not agree to to the duty. You are sayiny about the distance. I want to share some personal experience. In the M.P. exam 2013, I was an administrator’s nominee of a center. Everyday I have travelled at least 70 km. Also my center in charge had come from Howrah, whose resident is at least 7o km from the center. He always attend the center at 8.30 a.m. to bring the questions from the police station. So why are you so angry?
One more thing, please donot try to make difference between the teacher of different subject. All are equal. Do you think a teacher in science subject is less inteligent from you? There may be a few no of student in science subject. It always happen that the no. of science student is very lesser than the no. of arts subjects. This is the picture of all schools and colleges in this country.
Therefore, not mind and go to the center and do your duty.March 10, 2013 at 9:07 am #77291AnonymousInactivePosting here after a very long time.
A similar situation arose this year when our neighbouring school asked for 3 teachers from our school to act as invigilators. Ours is an HS Madrasah with only 13 teachers. We took the matter up with the venue supervisor and finally succeeded in making him realise that it was virtually impossible to maintain normalcy with only 10 teachers. The request was subsequently withdrawn.
I do not know the HM of your school, but in my view, he made a good decision by introducing the rotation system of invigilation, thus ensuring that the students did not have to suffer in any one or more subjects continually.
Moreover, your duty is only for 2 days. What’s the harm in having a quick diversion from normal life and, for a change, going to another institution and making some friends there? This is the very reason for which I love workshops. It helps me meet people and friends whom I have not met a long time.March 10, 2013 at 1:42 pm #77293AnonymousInactiveWelcome Shantanil babu after a long time, I’m also do the same comment as our two friends have already said in last two posts. I’ve asked for your School H.S or not, because at the same time of H.S exam. the exam. of class-XI in the second half, so for every H.S school they have to arrange for their own invigilator. So, if 12 teachers out 20 will go for other school how your school’s exam. will run smoothly. Now since the duty is rotationally then it is no problem.
