    Whether it is mandatory to an aided secondary/ H.S. school to accept and avail of the benefits under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan?

    What happens Mr. polo? SSM gives Schools so many grants, Para Teachers etc…
    so, why Schools are not accept and avail of the facilities under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan? Is there any problem or just you asked?

    I know an aided secondary school which initially refused to receive any type of grants/benefits of SSA as the M.C. was against this scheme simply because of some ego. MC did not consider it necessary to receive financial assistance other than pay & allowances from govt. Anyway after few years the school started to avail of SSA benefits.

    I think the school cannot refuse the scheme of SSA if it has upper primary classes (upto class VIII). if it refuses it has to provide all the facilities of SSA of its own.
