School Teacher as Booth Level Officer

SDO of Durgapur, dist-Burdwan has compelled secondary and higher secondary school teachers to work as a Booth Level Officer (BLO), so to visit door to door of the voters as compulsory duty. Is it compulsory duty for the teachers? She shows ‘sec-32 of the representation of the people Act 1950. Please comment.
According to the manual,the duty of a school teacher is teaching, examine the answer sheet (school,board,council),invigilation, and for the development of the students cum schools, acts by the instruction of H.M./T.I.C.
But now a days all are possible. Now, S.D.O, B.D.O. are asked to do the work which is their mostly departmental activities . After few days, we will not anxious to see, we are forced to do work, obey the order by the Pradhan.
Now the teachers duties are marketing , cooking, testing, serving; washing utensils,toilets, class-rooms,etc. To do the Student’s bank accounts, SC/ST/OBC certificates, Adhar card, voter list, the duty of polling , counting of polling etc. are the duties of teachers
So. I think, the manual should be made new.

probably they have no knowledge what is ODL ,and it is confirmed that your duty is now burden of another teacher. It is yours free
