i have joined as an assistant teacher 2008 in geography (pass). i was a student of b.a general (pass) . after i have joined my service i have done m.sc in geography from a ugc recognised university in distance mode without hampering my school duties. but i have not taken any permission from M.C or D.I or A.D.I for this purpose ! my question is if in future i sit in S.S.C exam in geography (pg) category and got passed the exam then, can i get my service continuation and other benefit of my past service with my pg scale?
A question may be arises at the time of personality test about your higher degree and permission. If such may not be happen, then there is no question of service continuation.
But I can say, this permission from the D.I. is mandatory.
Before, when an in-service teacher would appear to sit for higher scale then there was a column for ” No objection” in application format filled by the H.M./SECRETARY. But now such column deleted.
So, if the question of permission would not be arise/a factor, then you will get service continuation.
Tanks a lot, TEACHERS’ DAY.
You can get service continuation. You need to apply for that. pre-condition is application to the new post through proper channel without hiding any fact to the previous employer.
