I need to know whether any permission is necessary from Finance Department to shift the Office from one place to another place. It came to my mind because shifting office address involves shifting of Cash Imprest (Chest), of which a duplicate key is lying at RBI.
Could you kindly tell whether the office is being shifted in the same premises? If so, whether the Controlling Authority has authorised such shifting? And last but not the least, whether the Controlling Authority has the power to allow such shifting? If not then the answer is a big “NO”.
The office will be shifted to another place (not in the same premises). And I don’t know whether whether controlling authority has that power or not. But the authority asks verbally to shift the office along with chest. Now the question is should the office head inform to the RBI about the shifting (Because a set of keys at present lying with RBI along with office address)?
