Oh, yes, of course. As per the verdict of hon’ble Supreme Court it is a mandatory part of election procedure of India. I would like to go even one step further. Why can’t people of India have the right to re-elect or re-poll in a certain region if they are not satisfied with the works of an elected person?

I thought this is also included in the supreme court verdict. if not, then what will be the use of NOTA option? Just to make a survey?

NOTA option is a revolutionary step by supreme court. In my view it should be strengthened by adding a clause that if NOTA gets more votes than any other candidate then re-election should be done in that case. Such type of steps gives more power to our democracy and the faith of people would be restored in democratic institutions.
