    Hello to all !
Courtesy the scorching days of summer, our Hon’able CM has sanctioned special leave for teachers. My query in regards as follows :
    1. Would this mean any form of adjustment/curtailment with Puja Holidays/Winter Holidays etc as the total no. of holidays in one calender year is fixed ?
    2. Can we get a copy of the GO released to this affect and check for any clarification available within ?
    3. With some drizzles has there been any subsequent communication in regards to extension till 16th for students ?

It is doubtful! Going by the G.O published, whether the extension of summer vacation is applicable for the teachers cannot be ascertained very clearly.. The wordings of the GO are loosely framed and they are open to various kind of interpretation by the DIs, HMs, MCs and the teachers.
For checking it yourself please go through the GO yourself @ https://wbxpress.com/extension-of-summer-vacation/

“Hon’able CM has sanctioned special leave for teachers”!
“Special leave for teachers”? But Where? When? And how? Found any? If not, then regarding adjustments,Count
65 this way or that! But, chances are there for a complete reversal! Courtesy, sudden reverse swing of weather.
Its too cool here and around Kolkata! So, Lets pray God that “scorching days of summer” to start again and
continue so that the “special leave for teachers” is actually sanctioned apart from that scheduled quota of
65 Days Only!!Till then lets enjoy the cool….

That G.O. does not mean for any special kind of leave to the teachers. Its exclusively for the students. We already discussed the same in the link below. https://wbxpress.com/topic/vacation-in-wb-schools/
