Election Commission of India has ordered Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, 2013 in the state of West Bengal (excepting 9 Jangipur Parliamentary Constituency) with reference to 1st January, 2013 as the qualifying date. The filing of claims & objections has started with draft publication of electoral rolls on 1st October, 2012. The applications for inclusion, deletion, correction and transposition may be filed on any working day (including Saturdays) at the respective polling stations from 1st October to 31st October, 2012 and on 7th October, 14th October and 21st October 2012.
