I have a common friend, who is an Asstt Teacher in a Non-Govt aided school and where the Headmaster is very dominating and self-opinionated. Recently he installed a CCTV camera in the staff room amounting to the invasion of the privacy of the staffers. When objected, he retorted saying there is a provision for this. Is this really so or is he trying to intrude into the privacy of the staff? Is there any legal way out?

Why don’t the staff of that school ask their HM to show the circular/ G.O. or any such provision against which he can make such arrangements of surveillance?

But the concerned HM is adamant enough to aver that whatever he is doing is justified both ethically and officially. He won’t move even an inch further from his so-called diktat, come what may. Please suggest other way out.
