(c) Educational Qualification: Persons having the following educational qualification are eligible for appearing in TET.
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks as per relaxation given by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of School Education and Literacy) vide notification number S.O. 918(E) dated 1st April ,2015, which was published in the Gazette of India on 1st April 2015)

(iv) The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies, Mathematics & Science.
10. Examination structure and content : TET 2015 For Upper Primary Level .

after considering the above matter, I can say that his candidature may not be cancelled during verification. Because nowhere is mentioned that to be a Mathematics and Science Teacher, candidate would be a graduate in Science due to be a teacher of UP ( up to class VIII), He may be consider as Any Other Teacher – either (a) or (b)
You may find in the case of appointment for IX to XII, this condition might be mentioned.
