According this rules,[(page no.142, point (vii)*] , Graduate with Visual Art (5 years) from a recognized university is illegible for the post of work education. For this post, essential qualifications are (a) Graduate from a recognized university,(b) B.Ed/ P.G.B.T./P.G.T. etc with a subject of work education. Besides these, graduate with Agriculture/Home Science/Computer Science/Information Technology/Software System/Computer Application/(at least 300 marks at the degree level) Degree or Diploma in Art and Craft/Certificate in Tailoring and Needle work (at least 2 years)/Degree with at least two years degree or diploma in work education curriculum awarded by any university or any department of the State Government are also illegible for the post of work education. For those degree holders no need to do extra B.Ed.
In SCHEDULE II ,PART-D, Table-5 , You will find that the distribution of marks as follows:- M.P.-5, H.S.-5, (old H.S.-10), Graduate with others -14, and for B.Ed/P.G.B.T./P.G.T.-6, TOTAL=30.
In case of Physical Education, for B.P.Ed (TRAINING IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION)-06.
There is no other G.O. about this.
