I am a primary school teacher working in Kolkata under K.P.S.C. as a Teacher-in-Charge. Is it possible to transfer any TIC without notice or any show cause and without the desire of the such teacher. If anyone knows about it please reply and help me.
January 6, 2013 at 3:48 pm #76295AnonymousInactivefriend are you appointed as the TIC by written order? if not, then you are actually an assistant teacher. however are you a surplus teacher? please share roll strength and staff pattern of your school (including female and PH teacher if any). however do you guess any reason for this transfer? friend can you specify the type of transfer(i.e. permanent or temporary)?
however if you are not a surplus teacher, generally you are not to be transferred with out showing cause.

Roll stength of the school is 198 and 7 approved teachers (including 4 female and 1 PH). 1 male appointed in 2010, 1 male(PH) in 2011 and 4 female in 2011. there is also 2 para teacher in the school (including 1 female). i have listen from someone about the such transfer that it is in processing but still i do not any reason and do not recieved any such order. I want to know about the rules of transfer under such circumstances. thanks again Roy da, please reply.

In short you are not the surplus teacher because there are another male teacher (junoir to you in service) in your school except female teacher or PH teacher. Female teacher or PH teacher are given chance of preferance of choice.
