I’m working as a central govt employee since 2012 and have a period of around 500 days treated as dies non (without break in service) due to absence. My query is regarding the credit of earned leave (EL) in my account for this period. My office is about to debit 1/10th of the dies non period from my EL account but they are saying that no EL will be credited for the given dies non period. The rule says “The credit will be reduced by 1/10th of EOL and or period of dies non during the previous half-year, subject to a maximum of 15
days”. Please clarify with suitable information. Thanks.
Mr. Vivek, the rule concerns deducting 1/10 th of Dies Non in respect of previous half year. So, I would like to have your entire schedule of Dies Non for sorting out the issue. Please provide the same.
