i have joined as an AT in a govt. aided school. till today i have not received my true copy of service book and our h.m also not to give the received copy of any document.
what i have to do. plz suggest
Service Book should be opened at the earliest opportunity by the Head of Office whenever an employee joins. It is also binding upon him to provide a duplicate copy duly attested by him to the employee. This is the theory; but it is a fact that this theory is far from being practiced. So, the employee should persistently try to achieve and remind about the duplicate service book.
For your kind information, I am serving W.B. Govt service for the last 6 years. But till today, I have not yet been provided a duplicate copy. This is absolute negligence from my part. I never ever requested by Bosses for that. So, I am the culprit here; not my bosses. My negligence is mainly came from work pressure of mine as well as my bosses.

In addition to that the HM, in case of a High School, has to certify that SERVICE BOOKS OF ALL THE STAFF ARE MAINTAINED PROPERLY & UP TO DATE ENTRIES HAVE BEEN MADE THEREIN in the salary requirement every month.
But Mr. VIVEK you need not worry, the service book can be prepared and made up to date in a day or two whenever it is necessary.
