Dear friends, one of my colleagues has made monthly GPF subscription more than his Basic Pay during the F.Y. 2015-16. In the GPF A/C Slip from A.G. Bengal, the amount in excess of Basic Pay has been carried over to a separate column and categorised as UASUBSCRP. Neither the amount has been added to the closing balance nor any interest has been credited for the same.
Do you have any idea about recovery of the unauthorized part of subscription.?
Should my colleague reduce the subscription from this month onwards?
Any suggestion please.
