    Can anybody tell me following:
    (i) What is the tenure/term of Board Members of the Apartment Owners Society?

    Are the Board of Managers empowered to collect monthly charges other than common area maintenance. Say the apartments is not having car parking slots, the developers had advertise for vehicle parking facilities like “Ample parking places are available” as such owners car are being parked on approach road side which is not creating hindrances to vehicular traffic or the apartments owners approaches.
    kindly suggest.

    SIR I WANT TO KNOW THAT ,our apartment has 28 flat,4of them 3 bed room(1174qft),16 of 2 bed room(avg750qft)8 of 1bed room(492/596qft) is all are liable to pay same maintenance?or common area maintenance according to qft they occupy ?please help what wb rules

    Sir,
    U will get it in Section 10 of west bengal building (regulation of promotion and construction and transfer by promoters) act, 1993.

    Sir, My son and daughter-in law who are the joint owner of a Flat. Can they authorise their Father either by a power of attorney or by a letter to be a member of the Owner’s association ? Can the father be elected as a office bearer of the association ? Request your clarification. Regards.

    Sir, What is the definition of ” Dependent ” in this act. Can the father of a flat owner can exercise the right if his son wants his father to do so. ?

    plz.suggest the procedure for registration>>>>in case of an apartment the promoters are available but the original land owner(who has executed power of attorney in favour of the promoters to develope,constract,sell etc) is not available at his recorded address(as per the sale agreement) and not traceable for quite sometime(.)urgent plz.

    sir,
    I have an ownership flat in kolkata.A portion of my flat i have given to students on rent.I am paying maintenance charges as decided by our housing complex association.now association demands double charges to pay by me on ground of giving on rents. pl.advise me whether association demand is legal , should i pay the extra?
