i am a group D staff in a college. Can i be promoted to the post of a Cashier lying vacant in my own college? or shall i have to resign from my current post in order to apply or join as a cashier? plz help.I, Shri Sutirtha Guha Roy , is a Head Clerk at Central Dairy, Directorate of Dairy Development. I am an employee of Directorate set up. Now there are some higher posts in the West Bengal Junior Dairy Development Service through promotion. Now the regional Head Clerks are claiming for those posts. Now my question is that whether the higher posts are only for Directorate set up or for both the Directorate set up and regional set up. But from last 30 years no regional employee was eligible for these posts, and only directorate set up employees were eligible for these posts. Please suggest for this query with G.O. if any exists.
