One of my friends had miscarriage in an attempt to take her first issue. As a teacher of high school and as per rule she can avail of 6 weeks leave for the same. If she takes the said leave, will she be able to enjoy maternity leave two times for two issues at the maximum or the aforesaid availed leave be deducted from her kitty?

Maternity leave on Miscarriage ground has no bar. Maternity leave (180 days) is not equivalent with Miscarriage (42 days). Miscarriage is not man made. But in case of abortion (42 days), the leave is also called Maternity leave and it may be man made. Dear, I think Maternity leave on Miscarriage ground has no bar.
    Thanks a lot.
