I joined as a Honors(Physics) teacher on 01/02/2010 from ssc in a Govt-Aided school. Before joining, I completed MSc PART 1 from DISTANCE EDUCATION (VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY) for the same subject. Then I apply to MC through HM for DI permission(according GO 593-SE / ES/O/B/1M-98/2007 Date: 27.11.2007) to continue my rest course without hampering any class. MC permit me to continue and the decision of MC send to the DI but no reply found yet. When schedule of exam of part 2 published I apply to MC for study leave and permit me. Then this decision with testimonials I send one copy to DI and other copy to secretary of WBBSE. WBBSE grant me study leave and complete part 2. How can I get DI permission ?? What I will do now ?? Somebody tell me my MSC degree is invalid. I fell hopeless and tensed. Anyone help me.

@Manoranjan: Dear friend, please contact the D.I. directly and try to get an answer,if s/he is not satisfied with the previous application you may try to seek post- facto approval. Alternatively, you may file an RTI to know what decision was taken against your application for permission and if it goes against you, you have to move to the court. However, I don’t think your degree will be considered invalid ultimately. Hope for the best. Best of luck!

Dear friends,what is Post-facto approval and who is subjected to seek post facto approval? An Assistant Teacher(Hons scale)upgraded his qualification to Master degree through Distance Education without taking permission from the D.I of schools.Now my question is wheather he could request for the post facto approval from the D.I to get the higher scale of pay(Master degree scale)?Is there any G.O regarding this ?Please reply. Thanks in advance .
