H.M. post is vacant. Is AHM in this situation must be the ex officio HM?

No,No, AHM is not the ex officio of the HM. Only TIC executes the duty of the HM.

Sir I also want to know that if the H.M post remain vacant then any teacher other than the Asst. H.M ( present in the school) can be nominated by the M.C to act as the T.I.C?

Actually, I’m yet not seen in manual regarding this matter, but the normal procedure is-
M.C can select the TIC acc. to seniority and suitability starting from AHM (where AHM is exist), if AHM is unwilling then senior most teacher then acc. to seniority. But if everybody is deny to accept the responsibility of TIC, then AHM (or, Top most senior Teacher where, there is no AHM post) is bound to take this responsibility.

As far as I know What Torkona is saying is right procedure. But any one can give the G.O regarding this matter. Please .
