I am also facing with an similar issue like this. In my case, I had received a NOC to attend an interview from my previous employer, but at certificate verification, the NOC was not demanded and hence not submitted, in spite of possessing a valid NOC from my previous employer.
Now, when pay was fixed, I was informed that NOC was not received, hence pay protection is not possible.
Is there any chance of pay protection?
I had raised a pay revision request by forwarding NOC immediately after receiving pay fixation order within a month.
Is there any provision for revision of the pay claim?
