To: The Principal/ Teacher-in-Charge/ Officer-In-Charge of Govt., Govt. aided and erstwhile Sponsored Colleges of West Bengal.
Sub: Vector control measures in the premises of educational institutions.
With reference to the above mentioned subject, regarding cleanliness of the premises of educational institutions to prevent Vector Borne diseases, all Principals/ Teachers-in-Charge/ Officer-in-Charge of Govt., Govt. aided and erstwhile Sponsored colleges are now hereby requested you to take necessary measures for prevention & control of Vector-borne disease and general awareness programme among the students regarding preventive measures against Dengue and Chikungunya:-
I. To distribute leaflets among the students for awareness generation,
II. To clean the campuses/ premises before commencement of class after a long vacation,
III. To circulate IEC materials (Provided by Health & F.W. Department) among the students,
IV. To sensitize/ engage NSS volunteers in awareness programme.
