MEMORANDUM
The direct purchase of land policy issued vide no. 3145-LP/1A-03/14 dated 24.11.2014, has a provision in para 3(vi) for payment of administrative cost to Zilla Parishad and/or Municipal Corporation, as the case may be, towards purchase of land by different requiring departments of the Government or its parastatales. After careful consideration of the proposals received from the District Magistrates and different departments to specify the administrative cost, the Governor is pleased to fix the amount of administrative cost to be borne by the requiring departments towards direct purchase of land as follows:-
| Sl. No. | Land cost including structures | Administrative Cost |
| 1. | Upto Rs. 1 Crore | 2% on land cost subject to a minimum of Rs. 50,000/-. |
| 2. | Rs. 1 Crore to 5 Crore | Rs. 2 lakh or 1.5% of land cost, whichever is higher. |
| 3. | Rs. 5 crore to 10 Crore | Rs. 7.5 lakh or 1.25% of land cost, whichever is higher. |
| 4. | Rs. 10 Crore and above | Rs. 12.5 lakh or 1% of land cost, whichever is higher subject to maximum of Rs. 20 lakhs. |
This has concurrence of the Finance Department vide U.O. No. T/2015-2016/0740 dated 21.12.2015.
