Sub: Grant of Dearness Allowance to the employees of Panchayat Bodies with effect from 1st March, 2009.
ORDER
The undersigned is directed to say that the rate of Dearness Allowance as admissible to the State Government employees has been revised with effect from 1st March, 2009 vide Finance Department Memo No. 1370-F dated 12.02.2009.
2. Accordingly, the undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that the Governor is pleased to sanction the benefit of Dearness Allowance @47% to the whole time employees of Panchayat Bodies with effect from 1st March, 2009 who are in receipt of Dearness Allowance at the State Government rates i.e. 41% of Basic Pay and Dearness Pay taken together, including stagnation increment(s) and non-practicing allowance, if any, and excluding special pay or personal pay etc. with effect from 1st November, 2008 vide this Department No. 4532-PN/O/II/4A-1/2005 (Part-I) dated 11.11.2008.
3. The Dearness Allowance sanctioned above should be rounded off to the nearest rupees in each case.
4. This order issues in terms of F.D. (Audit) Department No. 1371(65)-F dated 12.02.2009.
