Group Insurance Scheme 1987 – Table of Benefits, 2014-15
A new table of benefits showing accumulations of savings fund under GISS 87 corresponding to a unit subscription of Rs. 10/- only per month has been drawn up for the period from 1.11.2014 to 31.10.2015.
e-Tender is Mandatory for Companies and Parastatals
Controlling Department may stop releasing fund to those companies, corporations and parastatals, until the e-tender process through the State Government e-tender portal is adopted by them.
Issue of Allotment Order through e-Bantan Mandated
Approval to fund flow through e-bantan module of IFMS does not need any separate allotment order other than the system generated one. Any conventional method of preparation of allotment letter and forwarding the same manually may result in duplication and will not be entertained in the Treasury/ PAO.
Letter of Credit Monitoring System (LOCMS)
Letter of Credit Monitoring System is On-line authorization and sanction of LOC in order to speedy transfer of fund for timely execution of development works in a transparent way.
Amendment of Public Service Commission Regulations

Revised Scale of Pay of Storekeeper (Government Press)
Paper Store Keeper of the West Bengal Government Press, Alipore under Superintendent, Government Printing, West Bengal. Revised scale of pay: Rs. 4000-8850/- with higher initial start at Rs. 4550/- (5th stage)
Reimbursement of Medical Expense from Insurance Policy
Pensioners/ family pensioners are also allowed to claim reimbursement of medical expenses both from the Insurance Company as well as the West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008.
Declaration of Movable Assets exceeding Rs. 10,000
While submitting a return of movable articles in the Declaration Form of Assets, articles costing less than Rs. 10,000/- for each item need not be mentioned.
e-Payment of Salary (ePS) Scheme, 2009
Payment of salary to employees may be made through e-payment of salary scheme, 2009 i.e. ePS Scheme to ensure transparency and to avoid delay.
