Change in Monthly Contribution towards New Pension Scheme
State Government will make a monthly contribution of 14% of the Basic Pay plus DA. However, the employees’ contribution would remain unchanged i.e. 10% of the Basic Pay plus DA.

General Holiday on account of Chhat Puja, 2019
CHHAT PUJA will be celebrated this year (2019) on 2nd November and 3rd November, which fall on Saturday and Sunday respectively. In view of this 4th November (Monday), 2019 is declared as a General Holiday in West Bengal.

Guidelines i.r.o. IPD treatment in COVID situation under WBHS
Governor is pleased to issue a fresh guidelines for reimbursement towards the cost of any IPD treatment including COVID-19 cases in the following manner for the benefit of members enrolled under West Bengal Health Scheme.

Special Allowance for Protocol Duties by Secretariat Assistants
Additional remuneration shall be payable to those Secretariat Assistants who perform such protocol duties in addition to their normal duties frequently and on a regular basis.

Interest Rate on General Provident Fund (01.07.2023 to 30.09.2023)
Governor is pleased to decide that during the period from 01.07.2023 to 30.09.2023, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1% per annum.

Govt. Office shall remain Open on 16.08.2024 (Strike)
In view of call given by a political party for a 12 hours’ bandh on the 16th August, 2024 (Friday), it has been decided that all State Government Offices shall remain open and all the employees shall report for duty on that day.

Allotment Order on Passing of Vote-on-Account Budget
All Departments should immediately issue orders of allotment to their subordinate offices. It may be noted that no bill will be passed by the Treasury without an allotment order.
