The question of revision of pay scales of Welfare Officer under the Department of Jails has been under active consideration of the Government for some time past.

Officers of West Bengal Audit Accounts Service belonging to batch – 2004, who are now posted as Treasury Officers-in-Charge in different Treasuries of the State are hereby designated as Treasury Officers of the respective Treasuries.
General Provident Fund and other similar funds under the administrative control of the Government of West Bengal shall carry interest at the rate of 8% (eight percent) per annum w.e.f. 01.01.2019 to 31.03.2019.
No application for grant from the Clubs running concurrently at the same premises or building or at the same station will be ordinarily considered. If there are more than one Clubs at the same premises/ buildings/ stations attempts should therefore be made coordinate themselves for the purpose of receiving grants.
