Enhancement of GST rate against Tax Invoice or any Receipt Voucher
If any enhancement of the value of the contract is required due to change of GST rate from 12% to 18% with effect from 18.07.2022, the respective authority may ask for a self-declaration from the concerned contractor.
Holiday on the Occasion of Jamai Shasthi, 2023
All State Government offices shall be closed at 2:00 PM on the 25th May, 2023 (Thursday) on the occasion of JAMAI SHASTHI.
Interest Rate on General Provident Fund (01.04.2023 to 30.06.2023)
Governor is pleased to decide that during the period from 01.04.2023 to 30.06.2023, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar fundsshall carry interest at the rate of 7.1%.
Transfer of Fund pertaining to Centrally Sponsored Schemes to SNA Account
No further concurrence of Gr T of Finance Department would be required for transferring the same to the earmarked/ designated bank account of the State Nodal Agency (SNA) of that Scheme.
Interest Free Festival Advance to West Bengal Govt. Employees, 2023
Governor has been pleased to accord sanction of Interest-free festival advance upto a maximum of Rs. 16,000/- only to State Government employees whose revised emoluments on 31.03.2023 exceeded Rs. 39,000/- p.m. but did not exceed Rs. 49,000/- p.m.
