Applications for Hindi Scholarships are invited from the students of West Bengal who got admitted in 2014 with Hindi as one of its subjects.
HM/TIC of all Schools/Madrasahs are instructed to submit Mid-day-Meal Status Report (ANNEXURE-A) with their salary Requisition (Hard copy) at the Grant-in-aid Section. Without Mid-day-Meal Status Report Salary Requisition will not be accepted.
There is an unprecedented situation prevailing in the State where the tenure of the Village Education Committees (VECs) have expired and new VECs would be reconstituted only after the Panchayat Election is completed.
Collection of fees in addition to Rs. 240/- per annum is punishable under RTE Act. Further, taking loan from guardian or any other authority to run the educational institution is not permissible. Head of the institution shall be personally responsible for the same and disciplinary action against Headmaster/ Headmistress will be taken it they are found to be charging any amount beyond Rs. 240/-.
Remaining 50% of the third installment of arrear due to ROPA Rules 2009, will be paid to the approved teaching and non-teaching employees of recognized Government Aided/ Sponsored Educational institutions and Madrashas.
Minimum age of an intending Madhyamik candidates whose date of birth is within 31st October, 1999 are to be considered eligible to appear at the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2014.
Education Deptt. recommends provisional recognition for up-gradation of 100 High Schools to Higher Secondary Level for the academic session 2012.
Sports Policy for the schools recognized by the W.B. Board of Primary Education, W.B. Board of Secondary Education and W.B. Council of Higher Secondary Education.
The actual score frame to be followed in Summative Evaluation will be as given in the Holistic Progress Report Card, and NOT as published in the books of Health & Physical Education for classes VI, VII and VIII.
