To ensure universalization of Primary, Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and to ensure quality education for Human Resource Development.
As per provision under NCTE’s latest Regulation duration of B. Ed. programme shall be at least for a term of one academic year or two semesters. In obedience with the aforesaid norm of NCTE it has been decided that B. Ed. classes will start from 1st July every year and continue upto the last day of June next year.

The nature of the service conditions of those presently working as VRPs redesignated as Primary level Para Teachers in Govt. aided primary Schools will be at par.
Heads of all D.EI.Ed Institutes are hereby instructed to scrutinize/ verify the filled – in and submitted application forms of their valid students and authenticate such applications in terms of eligibility via online mode by 13/02/2023.
All participants/ examinees of Teacher Eligibility Test, 2022 (TET-2022) held on 11/12/2022 are hereby informed that the Original OMR (Board’s copy) of each and every participant/ examinee is fully protected under the safe custody of the examining body being the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
