District Magistrate has decided to bring convergence in the MNERGA programme in rural area with preparation of vegetable garden and pond in School /Madrasah and fishery in ponds.
Control Room is opened from 17.02.2014 at West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and it will continue till completion of the Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E), 2014 in the interest of the examinees and common people as well.
As per provision under NCTE’s latest Regulation duration of B. Ed. programme shall be at least for a term of one academic year or two semesters. In obedience with the aforesaid norm of NCTE it has been decided that B. Ed. classes will start from 1st July every year and continue upto the last day of June next year.
Service of existing primary school teachers may be placed in nearby New Set up Upper Primary School to teach class V until and unless the regular teachers are posted in the New Set up Upper Primary Schools.

Certificates of D.El.Ed Candidates for Session 2013-15 will be issued to the respective institutions on and from 30.08.2017 during Office Hours from WBBPE.
D. El. Ed. Part – II Examination (Theoretical) of the session – 2016-2018 (Regular) and of the sessions 2014-2016 and 2015-2017 (the continuing candidates) to be held on and from 17.12.2018.
District Inspector of Schools (PE)/ District Inspector of Schools (SE) shall ensure that no child in the above age group in the district is left out of the process of admission to his/her age appropriate class in a school nearer to his/her residence, as required under the RTE Act, 2009.
