All the Head of the Institution are informed that Schools earmarked as Polling booth not having electricity connection either will apply for temporary or for permanent connection from W.B.S.E.D.C.L. by 14-04-14.
All H.M. of Jr. High/ High/ H.S. schools are requested to send application to the children of age group 4-15 years of his/ her School (if any) who have fulfilled the requirements for National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement, alongwith above mentioned documents in the prescribed proforma within 17th April, 2014 positively.
Special attention should be given on hygiene. You have to make sure that the Cooks and Teachers taste the Mid Day Meal before feeding the children and no contamination occurs in the food.
Postponement of Election/ Reconstitution of the Managing Committee of the Recognised Secondary Schools in view of the ensuing Indian Parliamentary Election, 2014.
High/Higher Secondary School earmarked as polling booth will be made more beautiful through the Voluntary activities of the Students by putting signage, displaying slogans, painting in the walls etc.
The Primary TET Examination 2014 scheduled to be held on 30th March, 2014, stands postponed due to election. The next date will be notified after the election.
Serviceing of appointment letters to the staff who will perform poll duty on 12th May, 2014 and to open office even on holidays with certain number of staff so that such type of appointment letter may be serve to office as an when required.
The School ground should not be utilised for election meeting /activities without permission of concerned Sub-divisional officer. The School MC will forward the NOC to SDO in this regard.
All the offices of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will be closed on 17th March, 2014, day after Doljatra as a holiday. However, the officers and staff members engaged with Urgent /Confidential nature of duty will continue their duties as usual for the interest of the Board.
National Award for Teachers for use of ICT in School Education has been introduced by Govt. of India. As per guideline of the scheme 3 Awards have been alloted for West Bengal.
