Reciprocal Transport Agreement between West Bengal and Sikkim

Gatidhara Scheme by Transport Department

Pool Cars carrying School Children – Issuing permit by RTAs
Contract carriage permits shall be issued in Form XV of WBMV Rules, 1989 and it shall be obligatory on the part of the permit holder to use the vehicle for carrying school children.

Issue/ Renew of National Permit to Motor Vehicles by RTAs
Governor is hereby pleased to direct that henceforth the RTAs of this State will issue/ renew the National Permits to the motor vehicles registered in their respective regions.

Renewal of Certificate of Fitness for Vehicles
Chief Mechanical Engineer of the State Transport Undertakings will renew the Certificate of Fitness for the vehicles owned by respective organisation.

SOP for Sale or Purchase of Registered Vehicles
The authorized dealers of registered vehicles so licensed has to keep separate movement log book for each vehicle and record every movement of the vehicle in such log book and should be carried in the vehicle when used in public place.
