This is for your kind information that School Education Department has created 39510 numbers of additional teaching posts in order to get pupil teacher ratio 40:1 in the schools up to secondary level. Now having considered the present enrolment, sanctioned teaching strength and number of existing Para teacher in each school the following district wise posts are needed to be sanctioned. School wise number of sanctioned posts is attached herewith for your kind perusal.

Now I am directed to request you to kindly take suitable steps for distribution of the aforesaid posts amongst the listed schools.
In this context I am further directed to request you to please advice the concerned District Inspector of Schoolsâ (Secondary Education) to ascertain the vacancies subject wise and medium wise against each and every school by maintaining existing staff pattern and rules for reservations while issuing prior permissions for the posts. Care should be taken so that at least 50% of the total posts are filled up by the teachers of science subjects. Further the statement of vacancies subject wise and medium wise shall be intimated to the concerned Regional School Service Commission. If any discrepancy is found at any stage of distribution the Department may kindly be informed. It is reiterated that District Inspector of Schoolsâ (Secondary Education) shall take special attention during distribution of teaching posts in respect of the schools with bilingual status or having additional section of other languages like Santali, Urdu and Nepali etc.
