NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS the need of providing service “Online Sanction of Building Plan” of WBEIDC through the Online mode in view of the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) project has been under active consideration of the State Government for some time past;
AND WHEREAS, the State Government has already introduced Online Single Window System for the Issuance of Construction Permits through Common Application Form (CAF) (herein after referred to as SWS-OBPAS) named as “e-Grihanaksha”, for receiving online application and issuing online permission for building plan and other allied services of WBEIDC;
AND WHEREAS, this Online System (SWS-OBPAS) has been integrated with different NOC Issuing Authorities through CAF namely WB Fire & Emergency Services Department, Power Department, National Monument Authority, Airport Authority of India and ULC;
NOW, the Governor is pleased to notify that WBEIDC shall receive online application for building plan through CAF and shall issue permission/ approvals in the online mode mandatorily through web portal of SWS-OBPAS leveraging the platform e-Grihanaksha (https://obpsudma.wb.gov.in/) w.e.f. 01st June, 2022 without any physical touch points for document verification, payment of fees etc and shall not receive application or issue permission/ approval through WB e-District portal (https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE/) after scheduled date;
HOWEVER, building plan application that are already under process in the WB e-district portal submitted prior to 01st June, 2022, shall be processed and disposed in the usual manner in WB e-District portal;
THIS NOTIFICATION is being issued for interest of public and top most priority should be attached to this and all necessary actions including adequate publicity and awareness creation among the applicant/ citizens and all stakeholders shall be arranged from the end of competent authority.
