NOTIFICATION
The Governor is pleased to enhance the age of superannuation of all persons borne in the cadre of the West Bengal Medical Education Service (WBMES) from 62 years to 65 years.
2. The Governor is further pleased to enhance the age of superannuation of all persons borne in the cadre of the West Bengal Health Service (WBHS) and West Bengal Public Health-cum-Administrative Service (WBPH&AS) from 60 years to 62 years.
3. This notification shall have immediate effect and shall be applicable to all such members of WBMES, WBHS and the WBPH&AS, including all such members who are on extension, who were otherwise due to retire on the 31st day of May 2014 and thereafter, but for the issue of this Notification.
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O No. 1219 Group-P2, dated: 22-05-2014 and with approval of the State Cabinet vide Cabinet Secretariat UO No. D-1730 Dated 28-05-2014.
