MEMORANDUM
Subject: Appointment of Federal Bank to act as an Agency Bank for collection of Tax & Non-Tax Revenue on behalf of Government of West Bengal.
Government of West Bengal in the Finance Department is pleased to appoint Federal Bank to act as an Agency Bank for collection of Tax & Non-Tax Revenue on behalf of Government of West Bengal subject to the fulfillment of following conditions –
- The Bank will follow the existing system of reporting of State Government transactions.
- They will also follow Guidelines contained in the “Memorandum of Instructions – Accounting and Reconciliation – State Government Transactions and other instructions issued by the RBI time to time in the matter.
This is issued as per the authorization given by Reserve Bank of India vide No. KOL.BD.PAD.No.S476/14-03-001/2025-2026 dated 09.01.2026.
